Reagan Library, Nethercutt Auto Museum, and Channel Islands Cruise
We’ll be driving down Hwy 101 on Friday, July 27 with the destination of Simi Valley with several stops along the way. The estimated time of arrival is 5:00 pm at the Holiday Inn Express & Suites in Simi Valley. On Saturday morning, we will be visiting the Nethercutt Auto Museum, which features over 250 American and European automobiles from 1898-1997. In addition, there are additional floors of musical instruments and antique furniture.

Reagan Library
On Sunday morning, July 29, we will be packing our bags and moving on to the historical Reagan Library, which is a great opportunity to enjoy presidential history. You’ll step aboard Air Force One that flew President Reagan over 660,000 miles. There will be exhibits of Air Force One, Berlin Wall, a replica of the Oval Office, Reagan Museum Artifacts and Secret Service history.

Channel Islands Wildlife Cruise
On Monday morning, July 30, we will embark on a 3 ½ hr. narrated cruise which will take us through the waters of the Santa Barbara Channel to the shores of Anacapa Island, one of the five islands of the Channel Islands. Along our naturalist tour, we will see the famous Arch Rock, bird species, seals, and sea lions that make their home below the high cliffs. We will also see the working lighthouse on the island. We may be lucky enough to view some whales as well. They are predicting relatively calm waters at this time of year.

The Cost will be $125 per person which includes dinner at Red’s BBQ, the Reagan Library Tour and lunch, and the Channel Islands Wildlife Cruise. Please make checks out to Ron Beck as soon as possible and select the Reagan Library lunch: Turkey, Ham, or Vegetarian. All sandwiches include: Potato Salad, Fresh Fruit Salad, and a chocolate chip cookie, along with water, soda or coffee.
The hotel reservations should be made individually no later than June 27th to secure the discounted rates.
